Oasis on Belmont Lane

The home is tired and poorly furnished. When we arrived, it was very smelly until we could open up all the windows to air it out. Although it has the bedrooms to host a group of 8 (we were only 6), there is not enough hot water to fill a bathtub which is offered let alone showers and dishes. The master bathroom shower was unusable because of an inoperable shower head. Amenities including shampoo, etc. were not offered. There was inadequate seating for us too all be together at the same time. The nespresso coffee machine could barely make one cup. Overall this home is overpriced for what it offers with a very unapologetic host.

Positive: Nothing really Negative: The place was dirty and it feels abandoned. Drainage in all showers are really bad.

Positive: Everything!😊 Negative: The stairs, I think, because we are a bunch of senior citizens!

The house itself was comfortable but the cleaning of the kitchen was a very poor standard. Positive: The house was spacious and was in a great location. Comfortable lounges and beds. Negative: Our main issues are with the cleanliness of the house and kitchen items. We opened the cupboard for a frying pan and there was oil in the pan in the cupboard. We had to wash a saucepan before we could use it. There were stained mugs in the pantry. The table placemats had bits of food on every one of them- Had to clean them before we could use them. Heater in the upstaris bathroom not working. Cobwebs in the upper bathroom. I wonder if the password could be shorter and it is very long and could be changed to a more user friendly one. No Netflix or streamimg- we had a day in due to weather and would have appreciated Netflix or similar. No shampoo or conditioner - really surpising as I have never been to a location with out them being supplied. None of us brought any shampoo or conditioner ourselves. There was no raised shelf or table to balance our suitcase on in any room. Sorry but I think your cleaning team should be told they are not maintaining the house properly for guests. PS light globe nearest the sink has blown.

Very suitable location for us Negative: some of the shower head fittings need adjustment so they dont move around while showering. In addition it would be good if the temperature indicators on the shower and bathroom taps were visible to users
