Deluxe Inner-City Apartment on Moray

Loved the apartment and but a big thumbs down to the communication of hosts and accuracy of listing. Positive: The location was excellent. Only a block away from the centre of town with plenty of bars, pubs and restaurants within easy walking distance.The apartment itself was excellent although not for older couples or for those with any kind of mobility problems. Negative: The communication from hosts was unacceptable. Notification a few days before our trip to New Zealand concerning access to the apartment being difficult and offering free cancellation could have been sent months beforehand. NOT GOOD ENOUGH. Access via 4 flights of uncovered fire escape stairs in rainy New Zealand - really! Why was this not explained in booking.com? Then a spiral staircase to the bedroom and bathroom. This is not a property for older people or those with mobility problems.

Had a wonderful time and it was a real highlight of the trip Positive: Pretty much everything was great. I did get a long text on how to park, get lockbox, and I was a bit worried it was going to be annoying, but turned out super easy and convenient. Location was amazing. Negative: The stair case going up to the bedroom was a little scary at first, but got used to it. One of the notes does say to use a dishwasher but there isn't acutally one there, not really an issue though. The stairs outside were really clean and tidy, no issues.

Stylish and modern Positive: Very comfortable, stylish, modern apartment. Fully equipped and nicely furnished. Very clean. Generous outside space with partial views of the surrounding hills and heritage buildings. Central location. Negative: There was some intrusive noise from the ventilation system of a neighbouring building. The shower was a bit temperamental.

Central location but spoiled for us by nightclub noise Positive: Spacious and comfortable. We found the directions and parking instructions clear. As we did not have a large car the space was fine. It is a hike up 4 flights to access the apartment so would not be suitable for everyone. Also note that the internal steps to bedroom and bathroom also quite steep. Right in the centre of town so it was an easy walk to many restaurants and sites. Negative: We stayed on a Wednesday Thursday and Friday night. On the Friday and Saturday nights we endured very loud music from a nearby venue which went to 2am.

Positive: Beautiful apartment ..everything immaculate...washer/dryer ...shower was great Negative: The amount of stairs with no elevator wasn't mentioned...my mother is in mid 70s with bad back...4 flights with luggage not great. ..also parking was a nightmare
