Central, clean and comfortable Positive: Great central location with off street parking. Spacious and comfortable.

Private and quiet central location with secure parking Positive: Central location, private, quiet, spacious, secure parking very good (the parking instructions felt quite intimidating initially but actually it was fine - would have struggled with a wider vehicle though) Negative: The apt was very stylish but we found the lighting very fiddly - loads of tiny switches grouped together with microscopic labels meant a lot of trial and error in the dark (and in the light)

We thought the apartment was great but obviously because we didn’t sleep was a real shame Positive: The location was good , the layout was good and it was furnished nicely and had a great feel about it. Negative: The 4 flights of stairs to get to the property were a challenge and the internal stairs were a worry need some grip strip on them - especially as you asked to take your shoes off and going up them in socks. But the main issue we had was not sleeping because we didn’t know we were behind clubs pubs that had music playing until 3 pm - obviously if you stay Friday and Saturday need to be informed of this. And also needed some a small complementary milk just so you can have a nice cuppa when you arrive.

Loved the apartment and but a big thumbs down to the communication of hosts and accuracy of listing. Positive: The location was excellent. Only a block away from the centre of town with plenty of bars, pubs and restaurants within easy walking distance.The apartment itself was excellent although not for older couples or for those with any kind of mobility problems. Negative: The communication from hosts was unacceptable. Notification a few days before our trip to New Zealand concerning access to the apartment being difficult and offering free cancellation could have been sent months beforehand. NOT GOOD ENOUGH. Access via 4 flights of uncovered fire escape stairs in rainy New Zealand - really! Why was this not explained in booking.com? Then a spiral staircase to the bedroom and bathroom. This is not a property for older people or those with mobility problems.

Had a wonderful time and it was a real highlight of the trip Positive: Pretty much everything was great. I did get a long text on how to park, get lockbox, and I was a bit worried it was going to be annoying, but turned out super easy and convenient. Location was amazing. Negative: The stair case going up to the bedroom was a little scary at first, but got used to it. One of the notes does say to use a dishwasher but there isn't acutally one there, not really an issue though. The stairs outside were really clean and tidy, no issues.
